KEY FUNCTION:
Under the general supervision of the PHS Center Based Coordinator, direct supervision may be assigned according to program needs. The Substitute will be trained in the positions of Teacher Assistant, Secretary, Media Specialist, and Food Manager, in order to fill in where needed, providing services to children and families.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Short or long term substitute in the above mentioned areas when Head Start staff need to take a leave of absence.
- Fill in where needed to ensure continual quality program operations.
- Help with Male Involvement as needed.
- Help with screenings as needed and ensure disability requirements are met.
- Other duties as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience working with young children.
- Ability to work with young children and their families.
- Ability to be flexible and work well in a variety of areas.
